Ok, I know how to do this but for some reason my brain isn't working right these days. I'm making the new baby a Christmas stocking. I want to line. Have all cut out and know to stitch the outside stocking as well as the lining but want to add the lining so it's seamed at the top (no fold over for cuff). How do I sew the lining to the outside and get all the seams on the inside facing each other so you don't feel them when you put your hand inside. Does that make sense? No wonder I'm confused-I think I just confused myself! LOL Can someone help? Thanks!! Lyn

Sew them rights sides together and leave a hole inside the lining for turning. Dorothy |

If you hand sew the opening closed then you won't feel the seam.

Thanks Ladies!! I knew I was overthinking this whole thing-seems so simple...right sides together with an opening in the lining. Thanks. Will work on the stocking this weekend, finishing up the binding on Kendall's baby shower signature quilt at the moment.
