what are your wishes for the New Year ???

I'm greatful to be able to get out of bed everyday. I have my ferrets, my hobbies and my husband works so that I can enjoy all these things. I'm greatful for my sister, my friend Melanie and her kids (across the street). I'm greatful for being able to give things to others. I'm greatful for Miss Mary and everyone on this site, because I've made some very nice new friends....

My wishes for the New Year....are that everyone here and everyone I know, is happy, healthy and gets what they need in life, to enjoy themselves, to keep themselves alive and they also get to enjoy their hobbies and children/grandchildren.

Thank you all...and most of all my 'friends' and you all know who you are...because you let me be me and give to you...

Kath (trying to humble and nice...:bg: )

I'm grateful for pretty much everything in my life - I just don't have the space to tell you how lucky I am with it all - kids are fantastic, hubby is great, health is pretty good, enjoy my job, have a hobby I love and am even getting fairly good at.:re:

It's almost one of those times when things are so good that they can only go downhill. So I guess that makes me a happy pessimist.

My wish for the New Year, health and happiness for all. For anybody who is having a hard time at the moment - count your blessings - there may be more than you think.

I have been so blessed with a great husband, and 5 great kids, and their chosen partners are so wonderful and I have just found out that I am going to have 2 new grandbabies!! One is coming Dec 20 by c-section, being breech and sideways (kind of like it's grampa). The other is due end of August. That makes 5!!! I love grandbabies!!!! And I have a job I love.

I'm thankful for my friends, and all my friends here at SWN that we can all share in something we all love and be there for each other, in good times and bad.

My wish for 2008 is that there was no condemnation because of someones race or religion. If you took off our skin, we'd all look the same. I wish there were no homeless people, no hunger, no orphans, no war. I wish that people would make an effort to do something special for someone each day and I'd hope that the world would be a better place.

I wish you all love and someone for you to love. Peace is a state of mind and unforunately some people will never have peace because it's their choice not to but for those who want peace I wish them all love and peace. Can you tell I'm a 60's Love Child!!! :bg:

My life is so much better than it was a year ago and my family is doing much better they are all getting settled. My youngest son is now off of drugs, sober 5 months now and he's buying a place down the street from me and he and his partner are having another baby in July so we have a lot to be thankful for this year.

My baby Emily is sick again and in the hospital tonight with the flu, she can't breathe but he's going to be okay with the doctors help. She's come a long way poor baby in the little short time she's been with us.

Bless all of you, I send my love to all of you, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

I am thankful for my family, 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grands, brothers and sisters. All my needs are met and some of my wants. I am thankful for the not so pleasant times, few as they are, because they make me really appreciate the good ones. As I told my son just a couple of days ago, "I am so truly blessed."

As for the New Year....I pray for good health, happiness and peace.

May you all have a Happy Holiday!!

I am thankful that I can forgive those who bear false witness, especially against those they don't really know.

May God Bless you all. Amen

I'm very thankful that my sister is still with me.

I will always be thankful for my DH and my children. We have been through so many ups and downs together and I think it has made us all stronger people because of it.

And lastly, my friends who live near to me and here on SWN. All of you have been a very supportive rock to me this past month and I am very grateful to all of you. I wish I could meet each one of you personally and tell you just how much your kindness has meant to me.

May you and yours always have wonderful times together this holiday season and for many more years to come.

Peace be with you......

I am thankful for many things.. Family first, my relatively good health, all my friends, near and far (most of the fars are on this site) a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in.. Also I am most grateful to live in a country where I don't have to worry about my safety or freedom while I am sleeping.. (or at any other time, for that matter). I feel comfortable with myself in that I have done my part to help the less fortunate have a little easier time this Holiday season.. Blessings to all of you for this season and for all the coming new year as well. I love you all.
