Time is running short and I still have wrapping and cleaning to do. I have one grandson with me today who is ill. He had a sudden asthma attack and was up all night.

I want to wish every single member of Sew Whats New a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

If you do not celebrate then Happy Holidays to you.

This year has been extremely challenging to me and I want to thank everyone for their wonderful loyalty, sense of humor and understanding.

I wish I could express myself a little better but you are all so very dear to me.

HI Mary,

Thank you so much for setting up and continuing to lead this site. It's become an important social outlet for me I know and I enjoy it thoroughly. I think you have offered a lot of help and created a lot of happiness for a lot of people.

May your family be healthy and happy and this year be better than the last for you.

Mary, I just want to echo the thanks everyone has said for this site!!!! I think this site has helped me to keeping sewing (or at least trying to) since I can always sign on and ask for help when I hit a tough spot.

Hey Mary, Happy Holidays to you and yours. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into the site. I echo Lennie's words, agreeing that it has become an important outlet, like an extended family. Take good care of your grandson, mine is 4 and also has asthma, it sure can be scary. Happy Holidays once again to Mary, and a safe and Happy new Year!

Thank you Mary for running such a wonderful site! Happy Holidays to all. My middle child (he's 25) just sliced his thumb up good on a table saw and had to have some surgery....came through well thankfully but I was worrying about the anesthesia with his asthma. Such a terrible disease at times. Hope your grandson is doing better Mary.

Mary--many thanks to you for this site. I was so excited the day I found it as I had just started sewing again after many years and I have so enjoyed making new friends here, participating in swaps and learning so much from all of you!
I don't seem to have as much time lately for the computer much less my sewing so I haven't been able to keep up with the board as much and I miss chatting with all of you when time is short.
I hope your grandson is doing much better. We've seen alot of children with asthma lately where I work and it is such a scare thing. It's that time of year though I suppose. Give him well wishes from me!! :)
Take care and Merry Christmas to you all!

Well Mary, at the risk of getting mushy, ditto. To all that nice stuff that was said before. And I hope you and yours have a lovely holiday.

I'm not doing the holidays this year and I am finally relaxed enough to enjoy it. I highly recommend it.

As for everyone else, bless us, every one.
I will think of you all while I do my bathroom monitor time at the mission.

I hope everyone's holiday is at least as good as none at all.

Ditto here too Mary, Thanks for giving us a place that we love so much. Happy everything!!! including New year.

I haven't been on lately as much as I'd like but I'm up to my elbows in Pillowcases. I think I've made about 30 of them and the pile is growing. Everytime I think I'm through I find another child I forgot and have to make another one. LOL I've also done quite a few sweatshirt with their names on them but those are store bought. My grandkids love personalized things so they all get sweats and pillowcases with their names on them. Then there's the other little ones in my life.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Best wishes for Christmas to everyone. Hope you all get what you want - materially or personally. Hope your family and friends gather around as much as possible to celebrate together. Hope all the new grandbabies enjoy their grandmas handmade gifts (and that their parents appreciate them too). Hope that those who wish to have an indulgent day menu wise enjoy it and that those who are trying to be restrained manage to resist temptation.

Thank you so much to Mary for being such a gracious hostess and for the work that she puts into making this a great place to visit (or even live it sometimes seems).
