After nearly an hour of trying everything I have finally solved my machine problem. I'm still not entirely certain which of the things I tried it was but its working again. Of course I was in the middle of some Christmas gifts and am running out of time. Instead of posting my problem and waiting for the answer (too slow for this instance) I went back through some of the old posts and tried a few of these solutions. So this is my heartfelt thankyou to all of you out there who in the past have taken the time to help someone with their machine problems. You also helped me today when I was in a hurry. Oh the beauty of a website like this one! Pauline

Pauline, Isn't it a great comfort to know that you have hundreds of friends out there who are sewists and fabric lovers and have such a vast store of knowledge and have shared it so freely with everyone else???? I always have these problems when I cannot dare pick up a phone and call someone.. But I can sit down at my PC and turn it on.. This website is my homepage, so I get a quick response to whatever I search for.. I just did not want to say only "Been there, Done that" in response to your post.. Sew With Love

Sweet Pauline...... How kind of you to bring this up. I can't imagine being without the web and all it's done (good and bad) for society. A site like this one enables so many to have access to so much. I echo your heartfelt thanks and appreciate you posting this. I, for one, absolutely enjoy the social aspects of this site every bit as much as the techie stuff. What a valuable source we have here. Happy Holiday, Pauline. |
