Thanks very much for the compliments!
This is how I started by getting back into sewing - tote bags and my dd's pajamas. I'm almost done with my full front apron (worked on gathering skills and soon-to-be buttonholes).
I've learned in a lesson in fabric picking, make sure you've got the right type of material for what you're sewing. My apron material is too dainty/lightweight. I only thought how pretty it was until I started sewing with it - maybe I'll use it for special events (New Years, Christmas, Easter).

They are really nice! You did a great job! I haven't made any bags lately since I've started quilting but hoping to make a new backpack/bag for Sarah. Again, WONDERFUL work!! Congrats!

What lovely bags you have made. Really cute...an idea for my nieces soon to be born baby....hmmmm....

I am trying to make small back pack sort of bag to carry just a pair of runners and a bottle of water for when I go exercising.

I have seen one that I really like and have a picture of it..363kb. But the forum's size for uploading pics .jpg is 1 byte which is pretty small. Is this kilobyte or megabyte?

anyone got any ideas how I can get my pic uploaded?
else I can pm someone and we can do it that way.

any takers?
thanks

Those are wonderful bags. May I ask how much you charged?

llsew, to post pictures, I suggest using a free picture hosting service - I use Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/) and it works great. Just create an account, upload your pictures, and grab the link! (to post on boards, it is the "IMG code").
