Has anyone used any Farbenmix patterns? If so how easy are they? Most of them say that they are suitable for beginners but some of the designs look so complicated! Im not sure about the redondo skirt, but would love to try some of the others. |

I bought the redondo skirt pattern and Loved it. When I first got it I looked at the pattern and felt very ripped off....lol I had no idea how those pieces were going to go together right and make that adorable skirt but I just followed the directions and it came out awesome. The first one took a little while but the second one was done in less then a half an hour. The patterns are very simple if you just take your time and follow the directions. I have also found that ebay has all the patterns and they are almost $3-5 cheaper then the listed retailers. I didnt find that out until after I bought mine...lol If you found a pattern you like go fit it! I have no doubt that someone new to sewing can make use of these patterns....oh you do have to add your own seam allowences. Good Luck, Spring |

I agree, that if you take your time and follow the instructions you should be able to do it. They have such a nice fit and the styling is great! I also have a forum dedicated to sewing Europan patterns etc., there is lots of good help there and some of the patterns have picto sew-along instructions. Take the leap, you'll be glad you did! -Corie www.banberryplace.com/forum |
