Hubby came home from work yesterday and informed me he bought me a Birthday present and I'd have to wait until Tueday to get it but that he was giving me the money to go pick out a machine I could lug to quilt class next month. I signed up for a theme club at the local quilt shop here so now I'm excited. I made the trip this morning to pick up my new Janome (of course) Sew Percise. I love it. At first I was going to get the Janome Jem Platium but all they had in stock was the one with 60 stitches and I didn't really want that one because I have two machines with hundreds of stitches this one was suppose to be just for peicing quilts in class so when I got there I saw this one and the lady I deal with told me this one is the serviceman's favorite so I took that one. And it was cheaper than the other one too. SO I'm happy. Now to find out what he is going to surprise me with on Tuesday. to me!!!
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Someone must have been a VERY good girl this past year. You've been through alot - maybe now you can relax and do something for yourself (like take that quilting class)! Happy Birthday and can't wait to see what kind of surprise tops a new machine!!! - Maureen.

My middle son came in tonight with a box wrapped up and tolded me it was his Daddy's present for me. He told me to open it. I opened it and it was a little ornament box about the size of a bottle of perfume. I thought it was a joke. He told me there was a paper in there to read the paper. I opened the box up and there was a reciept for a bra for my new mustang. I wanted one for my car because I've had to was the bugs off of it about every other day living out in the country there are alot of bugs out at night. Big bugsss. So that was my surprise but it was ordered and is coming in from Texas Tuesday. He wanted me to open it tonight. We exchange gifts on Christmas Eve at my house. It was fun tonight but all the older grandkids weren't here except for the 16 year old grandson and that made me sad. They'll all be back here for Tuesday and they'll get their presents. I have to make a pillow case for one of the neighbors kids because I misspelled his name. It's Daven not Davin. Poor kid I told him I'd fix it for him not to worry. I only had to make 30 of them little devils what's one more. LOL The little Janome sews wonderful I finished Emily's quilt last night and wrapped it up for her. She's a little doll and doing so much better now that she's over the flu. My little angel. Merry Christmas to you all I'm off to bed, I'm going to Chalmette in the morning to put flowers on my Mom and Dad's grave. I sure do miss them. Hugs to all of you and I'm am really spoiled aren't I? After all I was the only girl for so long they use to call me the queen. My husband and 3 sons. I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

What the heck is a bra for a car?? It conjours up all sorts of strange images from Victoria's secrets!

Jan, Its a cover made of fine wire or polyester or something to keep all the dead bugs that fly into the car lights when you are driving at night from sticking to the steel of your car... They can be a pill to clean off.. Specially in the Southern US where we do not have much cold winter weather to kill off all the bugs for a season.. Sew With Love

Hey Susie...does it mean that you'll have to wash that bra instead of the car. Hope it fits in the washing machine! LOL
