Someone who works with my sister was going to China and asked if he could bring her anything, she said yes, something red...so I got the most beautiful red/black, gold embroidered pillow, from China....a dragon rug (yay !!! the last of the dragon presents..), 2 more dragon thingies...lots of squeekies for my rotten ferrets.
Lots of bathing things, soap, lotion. (things I can't get here in FL)
Christmas was 'light' this yr. (for my sister) she just bought her first house and is re-doing it.....so I sent HER lots of things. ( a saw, a sander, a new door bell, outside lights, sheets, towels, clothes, dog toys and treats...grape stained glass things...she loves the color purple and has grapes all over her kitchen. I bought her a dishwasher while I was there in Sept....so she's happy and safe...thats all that counts with me...I love her to death and she knows it...thank heavens I still have her.)

Kath (it's STILL raining in FL....)

You're such a sweet sister Kath. Sound like you love her alot. I wish my sister and I was close like that but we're not. I'm close to my younger brother but not my older brother and sister. It's so nice to love one another. Merry Christmas to you and your hubby and your babies (ferrets).
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Wow, what a stash! We drew names this year with a $200 limit, so I got a set of new Chili Red Corelle Hearthstone dishes which I love, a new blade for my rotary cutter and a gift certificate at the local fabric shop (wahoo!). We got a great Christmas picture of our GD, and another great pic of Rob's oldest daughter, Rob and his dad's hands, honestly, they all look the same, short stubby fingers, wide palms, really wonderful picture. And Candie (Rob's oldest daughter who sings beautifully) made us a CD of her singing with Rainen, her daughter (4) singing along. I didn't even recognize her voice, it is absolutely incredible. It was a very fun, noisy, happy Christmas, and off to work I go.
