Daughter In Law called me fratic tonight she is bleeding and they were on the way home from her Mom's in Chalmette and I told them to turn around and go straight to the hosptial and get checked out. I think she lost the baby. I'm waiting to hear from them. My oldest son in Chalmette meet them at the hosptial and I'm just waiting to hear more now. I'll let you all know when I hear something. But I need those prayers.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Just heard from them, the baby still has a heartbeat she didn't lose the baby. Haven't talked to my son about what happened but my older son that went to the hosptial said they are letting her go home so I guess I'll see what's going on when they get home.

I'll keep you n my prayers Susie! That is so scary. Let us know when you find out what is going on & tell DIL to sit with her feet up & let people take care of her for a while.

I bled when I was pregnant with second daughter. So I had to take it easy and I had to lay down with feet propped up. I was only allowed on my feet 10 minutes, then rest for 20, then i could get back up for another 10 min. I carried her full term and she weighed 9 lbs 3 oz. and was 21 3/4 inches long. I am only 5 ft. tall. She is now 22 years old and is at Ohio State University studying to be a vetrinarian.

Just have her do as doctor says if he calls for rest. It helped.

Hugs and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Thanks everyone. I just got up it's 1:00PM after being up all night.

She's okay, the baby is fine, she is to rest and drink plenty of fluids. She may have been carrying twins, she passed something big but the baby is fine and the heartbeat is strong and the baby is not in any kind of stress. Thanks for all the prayers. That was scary. The hosptial is 2 hours away and I couldn't go so I called my son who still lives in Chalmette and he went to their rescue to help with Trinatte their two year old. I really have to thank God my kids are close to each other. Oh they fight and bicker with each other but when something is wrong they are there for each other. That makes Mama feel proud. Hugs to all of you.

If she had twins and passed one it may have been that it was never going to develop properly. Scary as you say Susie, glad the other one is doing fine - how far along is she?

Susie, sorry you and your family had such a fright! Tell your dil to listen to her doctor and do as she is told. Hugs and prayers headed your way for you and your family. Hopefully the pregnancy won't be a problem from here on out! So glad the baby is doing ok as is your DIL.

Oh Susie, What a relief for you and your family. So happy to hear that things are going well.

Hopefully dil is the type that can just take it easy for a bit before she gets going full steam again.

Best wishes to all of you.

I'm so happy that all is well. Tell her to do exactly what the doctor says! I will keep you all in my prayers. What a scary experience but I'm glad that everything seems to be going OK! Hugs!

Susie,
I'm glad things are okay now. Keep us informed.
I have a friend who was pregnant and miscarried when she was about 2 months along. She went to the hospital and they said she had indeed miscarried and they sent her home. She still said she felt weird about a week or so later and that something was just not right. She insisted her doctor see her. They did a test again and she was still pregnant. They said she must have been pregnant with twins and lost one. Her little girl is 2 years old now.

Bama that happened to my neice also. The doctor told my DIL that sometimes that happens. Her plecenta might have had a tear in it early on and the clot formed and she is just now passing it but that it repairs itself when that happens most of the time. I don't understand all the technical medical mumbo jumbo but she's okay now and that's all that counts to us. He told her she could go back to work, she cleans houses, so I guess she really is okay. I told her she better take it easy until she's sure she's okay. But I'm just the MOTHERINLAW you know how that goes. LOL Thanks everyone for being concerned.
