Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a good New Years! I got a dress form for Christmas and am looking for some books on draping. Of the books shown that is the one that would interest me most. It depends upon her method though. If she is doing flat pattern it is invaluable...and I can't tell that from the description given. Draping is a different breed of cat. I do a little of that in conjunction with flat pattern and just general sewing but I've never done draping from scratch. I'm just not wired that way. I have a lot of problems getting out of the box...once I finally break away I'm fine but that is my biggest barrier.

I have the fashion draping book, interesting but I have not tried the techniques as of yet, no time etc...![]() When I was at the Threads challenge one of the other ladies took classes from the author and said she was a great teacher (and she had most of her books). I also have the armstrong book for drafting and have used it for a at least 10 years and still like it. Jeanette
