I sewed this blouse up over the holidays. I love the look of it, simple with clean lines. From my measurements I cut out a size L. Just to be extra sure, I made up a muslin in some awful cotton broadcloth I had. Good thing too. The blouse was too small across the front and tight in the forearms. My arms are not big. I am 5'7" and weigh 155 lbs. So, I sewed up an XL of View A. This was a better fit. My fashion fabric was a striped floral so I had lots and lots of lines. It called for topstitching the front seams which I didn't want so I left that out. The directions for the neck edge were to turn raw edge under 3/8" and topstitch. I didn't like that so I cut a bias strip and finished the neck with that. Now it barely goes over my head. However, the blouse is done and it does fit nicely, once I get it on. I added an inch to the length, I find it just a tad short for me. I am going to try this blouse again, It calls for woven fabrics but next time I will try it in a knit in size L. I like the lines and would like to have the other view with keyhole opening. We will see what happens. Overall, I think this pattern is for someone slim because of its close fit. It makes up in no time with 3/8" seam allowances. http://www.timmelfabrics.com/bergmanblouse.jpg MaryW
