Hi everyone! i have really enjoyed reading a lot of the threads already posted, thanks for letting me join in.

I'm a self taught sewer - mostly clothes for myself. Since I work full-time, I don't get a lot done and I'm only now at the stage where I know how to make it fit me! (Mostly; and that's after 3 yrs):bang:

I look forward to being able to talk about sewing with people who's eyes don't glaze over......:dave:

Elmo is my gorgeous cat. He is a Burmilla (newish breed that is a cross between burmese and chincilla). He has all the lovability of a burmese with a gorgeous silver white coat. He has just turned 2yrs old and is still very kitten-ish. He likes to eat/rip/chase my pattern papers.

I'm 27 and married for 6 yrs, sewing for 3 yrs with my mum's old Brother. Mum has moved into the quilting mania and upgraded to the computerised quilting machines! but my love is clothes and decor.:bg:

Hi there. I would love to see a pic of your cat, sounds gorgeous. I had to smile at your post "sewing with your mom's old brother"
