Hi,

My name is Marianne.

I'm originally from Boston, and now live in Union County NC and loving it. I've been sewing for over 35 years. I learned as a freshman in high school, and have sewn ever since. When my three kids were little I made most of their clothes, as well as Christening gowns, Communion outfits, semi formal dresses, prom gowns, bridesmaid gowns and a couple of wedding gowns. Now that my kids are grown with houses of their own I make most of their window treatments. My favorite is sewing for my granddaughters AG dolls. The dolls never complain about the fabric or the fit. (haha) I have a serger and a sewing machine. Love my serger. So glad I finally registered.

Happy New Year,
Marianne

Hi Marianne,

I also did a lot of sewing for my daughters and now I enjoy sewing for my granddaughter. I'm sure you'll enjoy this group.
