Hi, my name is Michelle and I live about 25 miles west of Boston. I grew up sewing my mom's Singer (one of those black metal versions from the 1950s). And I just received a new Brother ES-2000 as a Christmas gift from my husband. I'm looking forward to doing some easy projects around the house like curtains and pillows and also hoping to start a side business selling some items as well. I just made a nice throw pillow for my daughter's bed (for when she eventually moves out of her crib) the other night. I look forward to learning more and hearing from anyone with tips on this machine and also those who have their own sewing-related businesses! - Michelle
