 Hello everyone. I haven't sewn anything in years, literally. I find myself wanting to get back into the stream but first I must clear a path to the sewing machine.  As a first project after so long I am going to make those hanging handtowels from some Christmas towels. I have wanted to do this for awhile and finally went on the net and found a good pattern to draw and away I'll go. I am sure I'll have a lot of questions about new techniques and fabrics, tools, etc.karen |

Hi Karen: I have been sewing off and on for over 40 yrs.. In the past, this time of the year is my busy time with the machine's needle... but I cannot find my machine under all of the fabric, bills and whatever is on my craft table. There is nothing crafty about a bill that needs to be paid other than being crafty on how to "forgetaboutit"... January is here and I need to sew!!!! Karen

hey Lennie Vancouver isn't so "green" at the moment but just as gorgeous as ever. Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome, especially my compatriot in Halifax. Has it snowed there yet this winter? Karen
