...and also useful as a reference for the seasoned sewing enthusiast: Sewing Guidelines from the Home Sewing Association (http://www.sewing.org/educator/html/ed_guidelines.html) Includes techniques, vocabulary, and diagrams for all sorts of things: equipment/notions, matching body type to clothing styles, how to use bias tape, how to select fabrics, and on and on. I'm not sure, but it looks like they may have updated this site in the past few months. Andrea

Had a quick look at this link - some useful stuff - but then found myself stumped. What on earth is a tube turner for? I'd never heard of one before so I had to look and sure enough it was a tool used for turning tubes of fabric. Great. But why would I want to turn tubes of fabric?

WOW this site is AWESOME I have been printing lots of information to put into my new "fast search info" binder that I am making to keep it in my sewing room so that I don't have to run to my computer everytime I need to know something. I love sites that have tons of information to help me gain better skills with my embroidery machine. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Louise
