Too cool!!!! That would take forever. Imagine the the space she needed to create it. The stuffing alone would have taken up a whole room.

You must surely make a polysteyrene form or something and then cover it with batting - good grief - I can't even believe we are discussing how to make one!

Oh come on Jan I know you want to try it. I cant manage to finish crocheting a throw for the back of my sofa. The idea of knitting something that size is just too much. Gina

That's one way to get a Ferrari! Definitely cheaper to knit than to buy one!

probably not with the cost of yarn. Doesn't it look like one of those little kid car beds I just want to snuggle up and go to sleep. Sher My website

I think you are safer in the knitted variety Kath O speed Queen! I am secure in my knitting talents and feel no need to be competative..... I think my next target is a sock monkey hat. My daughter was given a hat with a ferret on the end of it for Christmas by her MIL. love and kisses, Jan

I think my next target is a sock monkey hat. My daughter was given a hat with a ferret on the end of it for Christmas by her MIL. But Jan's not competitive!!! I made some stuffed cars for my daughter when she was a baby. They weren't that big though. They looked more like a Mini Cooper. Dorothy |

Maybe I could do an antique car for the doll house...no, I'm not even going to think about it! I finally finished all 12 squares of the calendar quilt; now I have to put that together for DD Lisa. I have already told all of the children that this is the last quilt. I made one that DD Shauna has up on the wall, altho I made it for Rush Dean to sleep under. It is a story quilt: Shauna's favorite nursery rhyme, The Owl & the Pussycat. DD Suzannah has a large macrame panel with seashells, and I told DS Lee he can have one of the hand-embroidered pictures I did, also DS Jon can have one and DS Jay, too. Shauna will get the dollhouse, since she and I have done all the work on it and she said she will leave it to Michelle, DGD (15th grandchild now 3 yrs old). MariLynntex |
