Okay, I saw a pattern for a poncho-to-pillow pattern. It says its a 90-minute project (not for me, but for all you super sewers it might be). Anyway, there is no indication on what I've seen, as to what type of fabric this would be made of. Fleece would most likely work, but what about others? Just wondering if anyone has seen one of these and could clue me in. I'm thinking about buying it....but want to make sure it is something I can handle. Thanks in advance for any advice! Peggy

Peggy, I havent seen a pattern like that, but I would assume that it is very similar to a "quillow", which is just a blanket that folds into a cushion. I have seen quillows made from fleece (because you dont have to hem the polar fleece), a heavy canvas type cotton, and even from an old blanket. I have also seen ones that are a proper quilt. So I guess you just need to use a fabric that you think you would be comfortable using. Personally I would go for a polar or micro-fleece. Cheers, Soph.
