Hi all. I just wanted to ask if you have to be a member for a certain amount of time before participating in swaps, and if there are any other requirements.

TIA

Hi Quilter71....

We are in the process of a block exchange right now and the rules for each swap are posted with the sign-up. Unfortunately the closing for sign-ups was the 1st of the month and I felt horrible when I had to tell someone that the deadline was over.

In the block swap, members of the forum did not have to participate in previous swaps in order to join in on the action. I believe different swap chairpersons have their own "rules."

Since you are new to the forum, if you would like to participate in a swap, PM the person "hosting" the swap and ask them the particular rules.

This is a great group of sewers on this forum, and Mary is a great administrator (as well as finding the most interesting articles to pass along to everyone.)
