I am new here so I'm not sure where to ask this question so if this isn't the right place would you please direct me. Is there a way to stay logged in longer? I keep having to log in. Also, is there a way to see if my posts have a reply without looking through them all? Sorry, to be so dense.:bg: But thanks.

homemaker,

Try clicking the remember me box when you log in. Then whenever you come to the site you will already be logged in. As for finding your posts there are a few ways to go about that. First when you are logged in you can click where it says new posts and it will post everything that has been posted in since your last visit. Next you can go into User CP and set it up so you get e-mails when someone replies to your post. In user CP you can also see if people have replied to posts or boards that you choose. Say you want to keep track of everything that happens on the SWAP board, you can subscribe to that board, and anytime someone posts on that board you will get notification.

I hope I answered your questions. If not or you need clarification just ask we are more than happy to help.

Hi Homemaker,

Welcome and please don't feel bad about not knowing. None of us are born knowing. :bg:

In addition to what Gina said, Check to make sure your cookies aren't being erased each time you log off of your computer if the "remember me" thing doesn't do it.

I automatically go to "New Posts" whenever I come on to the site. The email notification doesn't work. (At least not for me.)

Welcome homemaker9. Never feel bad or hesitate to ask a question on these boards. That's the real great thing about the members here. Someone is always willing to try and answer any and all questions posted.
You'll even see some of us oldies but [goldies]??? ask questions from time to time. With me it's the fact that as I get older and older I have more and more vacant spaces in my gray matter. LOL

Thanks for the great welcomes. I already want to sew more. I am a little nervous about using my new machine. I think after I take a class it will get better.
I know about the oldies but goldies. The gray is moving in really fast it seems.
