Eat whatever you like to have, listen to the music you like to hear and do something that you rarely get the chance to do. Sew, watch TV, sleep, go out, whatever.

My hubby only occasionally goes out of town for his job. It's been a while since he had to. When he does, I SEW SEW SEW. I don't cook. (kids will eat a grilled cheese sandwich or something easy) I take bubble baths. I stay on the computer until as late as I want to. I read. I watch movies. I get to hold the remote!! Okay, I do alot of that when he is here. Except the remote part. Try to do something for yourself Sherri. |

I just re-read my last sentence and it did not sound friendly. Sorry, what I meant was do something fun. Treat yourself. I remembered something I've done a few times when my husband was away. I rearrange the furniture. My husband hates it when I do that so I wait until he's not here. He doesn't complain about it if I have it done when he gets home. Just when he sees me moving it around. "It looked fine the way it was" "You're going to scratch the floors" blah blah blah. |

Bama, that very thing happened here this week. I was moving furniture and hubby is standing there going on about scratching the floors, blah, blah, blah. I just gave him "the look" and kept on shoving. MaryW

When I was in college I had a room mate that was always moving furniture (we had a two bedroom house not a small room). I would sometimes come in late and trip over a chair in the dark or go to plop down and end up on the floor. Dorothy |

Dorothy, sounds like your room mate may have been a little passive aggressive! LOL
Take care,

It doesn't matter if I move everything. Poul will just quietly put it back when he gets home. I am trying to spend lots of time with my kids. I have a couple of me sewing projects but I am having a hard time getting started. Mikey comes home yesterday with a note that says he needs skis for next thursday. I have no clue!!! Poul is home on Friday of course. MY in laws who could also help me with the skisare also gone. I am from the big hill country where skis are pointed down mountains and go fast the whole Xcountry thing is crazy. To much work. So Now I have to figure this out Sherri My website
