I asked for help not too long ago on how to make a rag quilt for my Mom for Christmas. I thought I would share it with you.
She has Americana decor in her bedroom and I made this throw to go in there. I came up with the pattern myself and really like how it turned out.

The part I like the best is that the stars appear to be unique--not stamped on or stenciled, but each slightly different from the others. It's wonderfully creative.

I too like the stars on the quilting - fits in beautifully with the theme of the whole thing.
