I just got this machine for Christmas and it's fantastic. I haven't taken it to class yet that is what I bought it for but tonight I had the chance to make a table runner with it, which I'm not quite finished, but it's wonderful. It's a computerized machine and it sew so smooth and the stitches are perfect. I love Janome but was surprised at how nice this machine is for the price. Under 300.00. Anyone else have one?
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

I got mine right before Christmas, an early Christmas present. Hubby got tired of me "wearing out" the plastice gears in other machines and bought this one because of the metal gears and drive shaft. I just love mine. It will sew through multiple layers of fabric and through the heavy seams of blue jeans with no problems. It is a great machine.

I'm glad you are enjoying your new machine. I know what you mean about the smoothness and the nice stitches. I have a computerized Janome made Kenmore and use it mainly for decorative stitching. This machine is so quiet to use so I use it late at night instead of my Viking and Pfaff for late night sewing. I love the feed of the 7 piece feed dogs and the extra wide stitches.
It is also nice that feet for the Janome machines are not expensive. You might want to look into the 4 foot open toe set that is available for the total price of around only $25.
It includes the open toe craft foot, open toe walking foot, quilt bar, open toe darning stippling foot and ditch foot. Usually the walking foot alone is the price of the 4 feet in this set.

Kylnne2 and Reta,

I have a Janome 9000 and love mine that's the reason I got the Sew Presice. I have those feet Reta with my other machine and they are interchangable but thanks for the heads up on the feet. That does sound like a good deal. I just finished piecing together a table runner with my machine and love the way it sews. I can't wait to take it to the quilt shop to start a new project.

Thanks Andrea, I really used it a lot yesterday. Instead of bitting my nails when the saints were playing that game against the Eagles I was sewing and ripping out. LOL But I got it finished it's attached.
