This Joelle's Christmas dress, it is knit velour with a flower garden sparkles. I only had 2m and did quite a bit of creative cutting to get all the sparkles matching on the sleeves, hem etc. I fused the hem with a wide (2"+) band of stitch witchery, it pulled too much when I tried to hem it by hand. It is very heavy but soft and comfy for her, the camera flash makes the sparkles look multicoloured but in real life they are mainly just silver.

Well , what a star she looked - and well done on getting all those spangles to match. It is the kind of thing another sewer would notice and appreciate.

Nice job on the dress - she seems very happy to be wearing it. Will she follow in her mommy's footsteps of sewing?
Hopefully when my dd gets to be that I age I can get her to stand still long enough to make adjustments to whatever it is that I'm sewing for her! It's not happening at 3.5 years.
