No politics please. Dorothy That's sour grapes. My local AHL hockey team are last in the league. I haven't seen them win a game yet -- and we have season tickets!! But, to their credit (?) they do tend to get frustrated and give the crowd a lot of good fights. Dorothy |

You got it. I'm not a football fan ( I barely understand the game  ) but I felt the need to say that.  Apparently our San Diego Chargers are just a hop, skip and a jump from being in the Super Bowl which is THE championship football game of the year. Today is the BIG deciding game and it's right here in San Diego. It starts at 1:30 which is 20 min. from now. It's easy to get caught up in the hype when it's all over the media, and has been for weeks now. So, we'll see if it's us or the New England Patriots going to the Super Bowl.  Lennie |

I don't follow pro-football too closely but try to at least keep up with the Falcons and Cowboys (oh well for this year though..) HOWEVER I DO follow college football and I was pleasantly surprised that Florida won the National Championship. I personally didn't think they had a snowball's chance but they pulled it off in a big way. I suppose if Auburn couldn't be there, I might as well support an SEC team, huh? Now we await baseball season...Spring training starts VERY soon--GO BRAVES!! Julie
