Is Georgette a Rayon? I get so confused by fabrics.

I think Georgette is a light weight fabric but not necessarily a specific fiber. Could be silk, poly, maybe rayon.

There is also polyester and silk georgette. It is transparent, something like chiffon but with a texture.
