I am making a fleece bunting for a new little one and am having a hard time finding an appropriate applique to put on it. I was thrilled with the new site "ask Pam" because the second question, answered not only my question about appliques, but gave me some great ideas for the future.
thanks a million.

I made a fleece blanket recently for a newborn and I fleece appliqued her Initial on itas well as some flowers. It was easy to do and added a personal touch.

Thank you for the compliment. When I am feeling really adventurous, I use a satin stitch and embroider the initial, but it's really difficult using my regular machine. I thought I would try this for a change.

Kim that is a unique way you added that appliqué. Boy the things we learn from each other. That really looks nice. I have an embroidery machine but the way you put it on there it adds dimension to the peice. Great job.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Thanks! I was thinking of doing the next blanket with a little stuffed bear attached, or something for the baby to grab onto.
