We saw it yesterday. It's quite a movie. If you appreciate wonderful acting go see it. Every actor in it is fabulous.

The story is disturbing, uncomfortable, tense and like one reviewer said, "The first thing you want to do after leaving the theater is take a shower."

In spite of this dh and I both enjoyed it. It's very adult, no wimps allowed.

It's been nominated for 3 Oscars; Supporting Actress, Cate Blanchett, Actress, Judy Dench, Adapted Screenplay.

Judy Dench pulls no punches playing this role. Personally she gave up any intention of hanging on to her vanity. She's REAL, greasy hair, flab and all. What a role for her.

Right now it's still in limited engagement but goes nationwide later this week I think.
