Does anyone have the instructions or a pattern number for a girls t-shirt dress. The kind that you use a t-shirt for the top and fabric in the bottem. TIA!!

Hi,

I actually gave the same reply to another post, but here's a site that gives instructions, you can use any size shirt, not just a onsie

Depending on the length of the shirt, I often just gather some fabric and add it to the bottom-like a dropped waist. My dgd loves them!

And I just found this link:

http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_kid_crafts/article/0,1789,HGTV_3256_1371470,00.html

This sounds pretty easy, so even a newbie like me should be able to do it. I think I'll try it in the next couple of days, as I have quite a stash that I can choose from, and I bought a bunch of T-shirts at Michaels when they were on sale for $2.00 USD. If I'm brave, I might even make an applique out of the skirt fabric to put on the t-shirt. My friend had told me about doing the appliques, but I've never tried it.
