We have a winter weather advisory out for tonight and early morning. (mixture of sleet, snow, and freezing rain)
School is already delayed for tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will cancel school altogether tomorrow. I need a day off.
Hoping for just enough snow to keep us home and to let the kids sleep late. And no heavy ice to stick to the power lines. :nervous:

I like the cold...keeps the bugs away...but I don't wish for snow or ice...(having lived in it before, it's nice to see on t.v....not outside my door...)(lets all rhyme...)

I am in Shelby county and Elizabeth goes to a private school and they cancled classes tomorrow. They were scared for the kids, They dont want them out on the road if there is going to be any sign of bad weather. This is another reason I love this school.
Stay warm and I am still praying for snow no ice for us hope there are not to many people wanting to kill me for it.
Hugs
Catherine

BAd story-- I just only got my restrickted drivers licence and I woke up this morning to drive to school-- and it was snowing! Really bad, and i own a camero-- enough said. Anywho I made it to school thirty mins later and i tried to cross this..barge of snow and my car got high centered on it! So I sat there for thirty mins and finally called my dad and he came and pulled me out. I was like an hour late for class and embarassed completly :re:
Thus, i hate the snow! I like the cold and the ice, but the snow!
Just thought i'd share.

I guess if you have to you have to... But I have to say there is no way I'd be out driving in that. I'm sure in winter in snow country I'd have a very bad case of cabin fever and a really small stash.

We are supposed to be above freezing for two or three days in a row now and only an inch or two a day at most so I'm not going to complain.

Well, it's 33 degrees here so we just have a very cold rain. There was ice on top of my car at 5:00 am, but none on the roads. The kids are getting ready for school.
What a miserable day it will be.

This weekend is the first time in 7 weeks that snow is not forecast. We have another blast of Arctic air on the way. I am surprised at how far South this air is going!
Our neighborhood still has snow and ice from the first December blizzard on the roads. We haven't had enough warm weather in between to melt it.
