If you like small projects that aren't boring these are great. I made several teddy bear sweaters and hats a while back. Want to make the beanies next.

Makes you feel good to do something for those not so lucky.

Can anyone tell me how to get the links to just say "Look Here" or similar instead of the long, long links?

Although I can't knit (I know how but have RSI) I co-ordinate a group of nearly a dozen knitters making jumpers to send to babies suffering from AIDS in Africa. Its a combined Rotary and CWA (Country Womens Association) initiative. Apparently things in some places are so desperate the poor little things are getting wrapped in newspaper.

One of my Weight Watchers members does a lot for charity and was knitting one in the meeting. It seemed like a good way to combine a warm and fuzzy feeling whilst stopping members from putting food in their mouth (can't knit and eat at the same time).

As a group they've sent over 800 jumpers to Africa. And coincidentally or not - the members are amongst the most successful in their respective meetings. So - knit and lose weight!

I knit for my local SCBU - tiny hats that would fit a satsuma and ickle jumpers. I am trying to get up the courage to knit fetal demise robes but it is heart-rending.

Lennie, when you are creating the link, the first step is to paste the link into the "Explorer User Prompt" window. After you click OK, the link will be added in your reply and the second part of the link should be selected. That text is what will appear as the name for the link in the post. Just replace the selected text with what you want to appear as the name of the link.

Another thing you can do is type the text that you want the name of the link to be, select the text then click on the "Insert link" icon, paste you link into the "Explorer User Prompt" window. After you click on OK the selected text will be the name of the link.

Hope this helps.
