I'm bad at pictures :bluesad: but when I hand fell a lining, I start with a tiny knot in the seamline and pop it through to the wrong side with my fingernail so you can't see it. Quilters do this too.

That's what I do, as well. If you cut the end of thread really close to the knot, it won't peek through :bluesmile
