Has anybody used this before? Wondering if it is worth the investment to use with my multi-size patterns for my DD and DS.

Below is the link to the Kwik Sew site catalog, but it doesn't appear you can order from them. Where is the best place to buy this online?

Thank you!

I use a similar product called "Pattern Ease". I buy it at my local fabric stores. Have you checked www.clotilde.com

Neat site! I ordered a catalog. Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately, they do not carry the Pattern Ease, nor the Kwik Trace, so I am back to where I started. Sigh. We don't have a local fabric store. All I have access to is Walmart - and they didn't have anything but sheets of hard plastic template stuff for quilting.

Thanks for trying to help!

I just use tracing paper, but Nancy's Notions has some pattern tracing material.

Hope this helps.
Take care,

I trace on plastic drop cloths! cheap, last quite a while and easy to see through

I use non fusible interfacing. Depending on how much I think I'll use the pattern in future I'll either use the good stuff or the cheap stuff.

I buy it by the roll because I trace all of my patterns. I started sewing with Kwik Sew patterns and now trace even the paper ones just in case I want to use a different size or make an alteration.

Great ideas! I think I will try the interfacing. I am heading to Walmart this weekend. Just curious - Do they sell it by the roll and any idea about how much it runs?

Thanks bunches!

I had a whole bolt of the Kwik Trace. Bought it years ago and use it all the time. It doesn't tear and you can see thru it to trace. There isn't much left now. The above suggestions will work quite fine.

Is Kwik Trace interfacing? I've never seen it in the shops or looked at the ad on the website because I was fairly happy with what I was doing.

Katie,
I did not notice where you are, but if you have access to a Lowe's (home improvment store, not the grocery).. They have a roll of "sewer cloth".. also sometimes called soil seperator cloth or something similar.. Comes in rolls 18, 24, or 36 inches wide and 100 yds long.. prices start about $18, for the narrow one.. It is not marked in inch dots, but looks very similar to that example of Kwik Trace.. I use it all the time for pattern tracing.. It resembles interfacing somewhat in looks, but you can see thru it real well for tracing purposes.. I do not know why Home Depot does not carry this stuff, but they do not.. Lowe's is the only place I have ever found it., but it is worth its weight in gold to me..
