They aren't really purses, but tote bags.

Finished these last night, the b/w one is for my daughters best friend and the o/p one is for my soon to be daughter-in-law. They are the same on either side, no batting, just iron on interfacing to give it some body. Now, onto the wedding memory quilt! Who needs work?? I'm just going to quilt!!

Very nice, Laura!

Did you make the handles? I see that the o/p one has beaded handles(?), but what about the b/w one?
Take care,

My favorite is the black and white too. I purchased the handles, though the b/w one is quite a small handle, but the owner is really slim, so not a problem, The other handles are flexible. I used a pattern I have in a book I got off Crafters Canada. It's got a bunch of really great patterns in it, this is my 2nd one out of the book, and I have about 7 more tagged to try out.

They are lovely bags, Laura. I am really impressed at how people post pictures here. I just got a dig camera (my Christmas present to myself) and all I have taken is about 25 experimental pictures of some growing and evolving tulips I bought at Costco. I spend too much time here reading about all your lives.

BTW I like the b+w bag best, though almost feel sorry for the other as everyone seems to like the b+w one! :re:

I love both of them. Nice job.
I've been planning to sew up a couple of new purses for myself. Just can't find the time lately. :re:
I made a reversible purse for my mom before Christmas that used purchased plastic handles that can be removed. I'm planning to make her a couple more for Mother's day that she can use the same handles with.
