Hi Everyone, My name is Bruna and I'm another Australian joining in. I've been checking this forum for a few months now and it's such a friendly and supportive place that I would love to be a part of it. I'm 52 at the moment, married and have two boys, one's 21 and the other 18. I love to sew but don't do it as often as I'd like, I seem to go in spurts where I sew madly for a while and then run out of puff. When my boys were small I made nearly all their clothes but those days are long gone! A few months ago, I bought the Lutterloh system and I'm just getting ready to finally try it out, in fact, that's how I stumbled onto this site, looking for information on the Lutterloh system. I need to sew plus sized and have to make so many adjustments that it sometimes puts me off, I'm hoping Lutterloh will cut some of those out. Well, that's my rambling for now, looking forwards to being a part of such a wonderful community. Regards, Bruna |

Does that make me your sister, Jan???? I don't have one. Hi Bruna, So nice to have you join us. I've seen a lot about the Lutterloh system here but don't know a thing about it. I'm sure you'll get help here. I used to sew for my kids too, I'm 50, but times have changed. Hope to see you around often. Lennie |

Hi Bruna and welcome. It is a great group here - hope you enjoy it. Let us all know what you think about Lutterloh when you've had a bit of time to look over it and try it out. I'm in Melbourne - whereabouts are you from? Pauline

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome. Pauline, I live in Traralgon, in Victoria, just about two and a half hours from Melbourne, do you know it? Regards, Bruna |

Yeah I actually live in Narre Warren so I'm closer than you think. We have friends in Aberfeldy (NE of Walhalla) so come fairly close to Traralgon relatively often.

Pauline, I sometimes visit Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, I like the Spotlight store there and the shops in the centre itself. For those of you who don't know, Spotlight is a fabric and craft chain store here in Australia. I think the independant stores probably have better quality but they seem to be few and far between. We used to have two here in Traralgon but they closed several year ago. Regards, Bruna |

I live close enough to Spotlight that I could walk there if I wanted to (about a 3-4 km round trip). However, since I would never be able to walk home again with my purchases I drive there. I'm not sure if I would be quite so interested in sewing if I had to make a lot of effort to stock up on supplies. Pauline

hello everyone and especially Bruna, I am a keen sewer from Albury NSW Australia. I like the sound of your forum, I hope to make some new friends with similar interests. My main sewing interest is dressmaking but I sew most things. I would like to earn an income from it one day. My dream is to have a shop front and sit in the window and sew (Bliss) PS I need the daylight to see by for now Teezy |

Hey Teezy, Welcome and love to see you here. Sounds like you'll fit right in with this crazy bunch! (If you go back to "Introduce Yourself" post under "New Threads" and many more will notice you. Here you fall under Bruna's shadow. ) Lennie |
