Just got off the phone with my sister who told me her niece who is 24 and her girlfriend that went to Uganda in Jan have disappeared. The girls found jobs on the internet with a village 'school' where they would teach yoga and healing to abused women and children. She was doing a blog every other day and Feb 12 it just stopped. No one has heard anything from either of the girls and now the family has found out that the 'school' is not a school at all, but a front for white prostitution. They have found a contact in another village about 2 hours away who is going to attempt to get to their village and see if he can find anything out, except its extremely dangerous for him. Please pray for these 2 girls!!

There are too many horrible stories from that part of the world. Can't imagine what their parents are going through or the girls for that matter. All the best and please keep us updated. Lennie |

Hope all is or will be okay and that the girls get home safe and well. It may be that they caught on that things weren't as expected where they were and have taken the opportunity to get away from there without any opportunity to let their families know. [[[[]]]] to you and your sister. Pauline

Finally got some information. The girls are alive and in another town about 4 hours away from the original town. The director of the school was raping the students in the school...how many I do not know...but the girls felt it was their duty to confront this man and then he said that he was with the secret police and they had better have a meeting with them....That is why they took off, they put everything into one suitcase and left. She went with the other white girl that was with her at the school. She has been trying to get to the Canadian embassy but I don't know if she's been there or even gotten contact with them. At least they are alive and 'safe' for now. The parents are trying to get them out of the country or at least to a safe spot.
