Hi, I am trying to find out if any one has used a attachment that you can split up spools of serger thread into smaller spools. I don't know if this make since to anyone. If not I will try again. Valerie

I have and have used the EZ Winder (http://www.darrsewnotions.com/darrpage/winder.htm) with great success. Is this what you are refering to?

I have the E-Z Winder also Valerie. I only buy 1 spool of serger thread and wind 2 or 3 other spools off for my serger projects.

I have the EZ Winder also and love it! I have 3 - 4 spools of the basics, but have purchased one of every color of the other colors of Maxi Lock from www.atlantathread.com and wind off spools when I need a particular color. I love to have matching serger thread (personal preference here, though not really needed), but space for 3 - 4 spools of every color is short and you don't need that much for an individual project.
