I need several yards of gray satin bias tape. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it? Every time I have tried to cut satin strips on the bias, it has always stretched out of shape. |

Have you tried a rotary cutter? Just found this site about bias strips, it may help someone out, goodness knows I need a refresher once in a while. http://www.squidoo.com/SewitSeams/ |

Yes, but it doesn't help! I can cut bias strips using my rotary cutter (and ruler) without any problems using any other fabric but satin. However, the satin bais strips are always uneven. I thought maybe there was a trick to satin bais strips that I don't know. |

There is a thing where you make a tube and cut it to make bias tape. I've never done it but someone here probably has instructions. Dorothy |

I have the instructions for continuous bias strips but I suspect U already know how. I'll send them to you if you want them. I think they came from the University Of Newmexico web site. Grandma C |

I'll try a continuous bias tube strip and see if that works any better. Thanks for your suggestions! |
