Just found out this evening we are having another Granddaughter, this makes 7 girls and 2 boys. UGHHHH I thought I'd get rid of the pink and buy some blue but not so, I'll be making more pink frufru. LOL :nah:  But I won't complain. I had a feeling it was a girl the heart beat was 167. Girls are usually fast and boys are slower.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Congratulations, hope everything goes well. I think a girl would be wonderful to sew for. I had two boys and even though I offered to make them a dress they declined! Not fair lol!

Thanks everyone. I was going to leave my sewing and emboridery machines in my will for the granddaughters but at the rate they are going I guess I better get busy and buy some more machines. :bg: :nah: I only have 5 machines. ggggggggg:dave:

I have been over at the quilt shop this week demonstrating embroidery machines for the owner. She is now stocking them and she didn't know how to use the machine. I'm having a ball. It's the Brother Inovis 4000 and it's the cadillac of the Brother line in the home sewing catagory. Very nice machine. I own the Singer XL6000 but this one is very nice too. I think I have one sold for her already. My neighbor is in the market for an embroidery machine and she's going over there with me probably Tuesday to look at it.

Sounds like fun at the shop, Suzie!
When I read the name of your post (Another Girlll), I thought, Oh this must be an old post from last year that got stirred up again! haha, They can keep 'em coming, as far as I'm concerned, especially if their Grandma's any part of showing them how to be

I think I forgot to have that little talk with my boys about the birds and bees. :bang: They are going to have to stop all this, I hate to see Christmas around here this year. I guess I better start now buying gifts if I don't want to wind up in the poor house.

Andrea I love all my grands and lately with us all scattered I'm not as close as I'd like to be but I love'em all. Emily is getting big, Trinatte is counting. LOL Yes she's two just this month and the other day I was counting some papers and stopped at 7 to pull back some that were stuck together and she finished the sequence by saying, "8, 9, 10." I was shocked. They grow up so fast. My oldest grandson is now driving. He's 16 going on 17 and I can remember when I use to play games with him when he was 2 and I would keep him.

Naomi, My heart is big enough to love'em all but I'm afraid my pocket book is not going to be big enough around Christmas time. gggggggggggg but I'll manage.

Suz, all they need is love, the gifts never really matter in the long run. My kids, they adored my mom, and I bet if I asked them, they couldn't tell me what any of the gifts were that she gave, but they remember so many of the things they did together and the fun they had. I want to be a grandma just like my mom. PS. Congrats on another pink one!!

Laura, I know that's what counts but they do look for something under my tree. I've spoiled them so much not just with gift but with love too. My oldest granddaughter will be 15 in Oct and I bought all the older granddaughters (3 of them) sewing machines of their own for their 11th birthday and Katrina hit and they lost them. She told me on the phone she wanted to get back into sewing so that might be a good thing to start investing in because for the life of me I can't shop for them anymore since they are older. The little ones are easy but the older ones are tuff. I just usually give them money.
