My friend from my quilt shop Barbara is looking to join in a swap and there are none recently except the red, white and you that is limited to only the 16 who joined. Is there one coming in the future so she can play with you guys. I was bragging on all the swaps and she's broken hearted there are none right now. Come on where are all the swappers. I might get in one if you get it started too. ANYBODY????????????????:bluewink:
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Hi Susie,

I know that Patty22 is talking about one in the near future. I think she was letting everyone get other things out of their way first. Both you and Barb are welcome to join in the fun!!!!

Naomi,

Thanks for the reply. LOL here I am bragging on all the swaps they have on here I even brought my blocks we did with the siggy swap in 2005 to show Barb at the quilt shop and this week she told me there is not any going on here right now. Now that I'm doing more and more quilting I might just take you up on the next swap. Please make sure you let me know when and what I need to do.

Susie, it was carman and postcardgirl who organized all the FQ swaps. But they seem to be taking a break from SWN lately...:whacky:...and no one else is organizing any fabric swaps.

Patty organized the RW&U block swap and is talking about doing a quilt...something like what Joannequilts did back in 2005. She comes up with the block pattern and we all do it and show our blocks. Then we will have a quilt to put together in the end... I think she is planning for later on like the fall...

I know I've got a few quilts to finishe before I join that one.

Judy is correct Carman and postcardgirl were the normal swap hosters. I hosted a few swaps myself for a little while. Thing is, from reading back it looks as though postcardgirl was not planning on doing anymore swaps ever, and carman just dissapeared back in November. So what we really need is someone to host the swaps.
I am willing to collect names and send them out for Fat Quarter Swaps and if carman comes back I will gladly step down. I have no interest in organizing scavenger hunt type swaps as postcardgirl did. If someone wants to do those I will help you get started just send me a PM.
