I made a bath mat.
It fits into the not to bad category I think.
For all its faults I kinda like it so I'm showing off.

Very cute. What sort of fabric is that?

Lennie --
It was a really wide mole skin I got cheap in the New York garment district. It was so wide I made a seamless shower curtain out of it. The shower curtain has sea shells, fish, sea horses and some playful mermaids I appliqued on it.
The feet are just cotton and the water drops are a silky polly that I thought would be a good lining someday.

Not sure what mole skin is fabric wise.

I know what a mole is (you ain't seen ugly till you've seen naked mole rats, yikes! There's a whole exhibit of them tunneling at the S.D. Zoo)

I know the stuff that prevents blisters......... but whatever moleskin fabric is, it looks really great. (I had to count the toes too.)

Thanks, Dorothy Very creative!

I like that :) I have a bathroom scale that has footprints on it in fake chrome. The mat would fit right in.

I, too, think it is clever and cute, Dorothy. And I am jealous of your access to the New York garment district. I think if I were to come and visit it I would have to charter a plane home!! :bolt:

It's about a five hour drive from here to New York City -- so I can't just run out for a few yards! But my daughter lives there so we get down a few times a year.
For any sewer doing a tourist thing -- don't miss it. It beats 5th Avenue all to pieces.
