What a good cause. Thanks for posting, Mary. I just sent an e-mail to my regional coordinator.

I have no idea. Maybe you could contact one of the reps. and ask. It is certainly a worthy cause.

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea such a program existed. Our son is in the military so I want to be of service where I can. |

Mary, Do you know of any organizations like this in Canada, for the needs of returning military personnel there? Take care,

OK! Got my packet in today's mail. I received a couple of very simple patterns to make stuff from scratch, also instructions for adapting purchased garments. Everything seems very well thought out & organized. The first product gets sent directly to your regional director for quality control - a very good idea IMHO. After your work passes muster you're 'hired', and it can then be sent straight to the main distribution facility. I won't have time to get into it until the weekend, but am excited to start. Anybody else going to do this? Jorja |

The center near me must be inactive, or overwhelmed with offers. I received no reply. |

I'm waiting for my packet. I e-mailed my regional person the other night and she responded immediately. I'm looking forward to getting the patterns. I already make the cool ties to send to our troops - and this would help those who have been injured.
