We are getting a late start on this one. Sign up goes from today to Tuesday the 13th. I will send out lists on the 14th and mail out date is March 24th. Also I want to change the requirements for joining the Swap. Still the same of no previous swaps required. But I am going to ask that you have been active on the boards for at least one month prior to signing up.
This month's Theme....
"Green, Green it's green they say on the far side of the hill. Green, Green I'm goin' away to where the grass is greener still."
Please try to avoid anything that screams St. Patrick's Day.
Approximate size 18"x22"
100% Cotton
Washed or unwashed just let us know which it is.
No previous swaps required
Must be an active member of the site for at least one month
Send me a PM with your name, address, phone number and e-mail no latter than March 13th.
Lists will go out March 14th
Mail out date March 24th

I haven't been involved in a swap.how does it work?Is it just the fabric you swap or do you have to make a particular block....I could be really interested...Vic

This is just a fat quarter swap, no blocks involved.

The amount of FQ's you send depends on how many people we get signed up. You will send one to each person in the swap.

Hi Gina, I just pm'd you! Count me in!! I love getting surprises in the mail all the time! And these FQ's come in very handy.

For others who are wondering what to do with them....I've used them in clothing for the grandkids, I used quite a bit of my white on white swap in the recent RW&You block swap, wrapped gifts in them, etc. Always fun to have something new to look at and use!

Maybe lack of interest is why carman left? I PM'd Jeke and vikki to see if they still have interest. I will wait until this evening and then send out the lists.

We just need to get it going again, Gina...I think interest will pick up. We usually have a small group if we do something like fossil ferns or moda marbles as they are a bit pricier but I'm willing to swap with however many we get. I've got my fabric already-just need to wash and cut.

You have PM! Sorry, I thought I had sent it. I wondered where the list was.

6 is a good swap-we usually average around 8 so 6 is good!

What are we swapping in April?

How come Debby got Jay's already? Isn't MT closer to AZ than PA?

Thanks Karen-I like to keep track cuz if someone doesn't receive it for whatever reason, I'm always willing to replace.

I think Jay's FQ from MT took a wrong turn somewhere or it just doesn't like the heat we have right now-low 90's today

Maybe it will come tomorrow which would be nice-I have a meeting I have to spend an hour or so in tomorrow at work that doesn't even pertain to me per se so you can be sure my mood isn't going to be great when I leave work! LOL

Like I said in an earlier post, I think my mailman uses them to pad his seat. Jeke, give it a few days I am sure they will show up. If they aren't there by the time April's deadline rolls around just add them to the envelopes you are already sending out.

I have been a bit suspicious of my mail "woman". Her name is Angie..

My dog, Hunter, is very upset with her every single day when she opens up the mail box at the end of our driveway.. He does not like the sound of her card "diesel machine".

So I am figuring that Ms. Angie.. ran off with your FQ. :re:

Jay, don't worry about mine I'm sure it will be here. My mailman came late today so I couldn't check if it came today. Maybe yours and Lyn's met up over Ohio became friends and went to tour Lancaster- the Amish country. LOL They'll be here soon.
Terry

Jay no fq yet-but it will show up.

Terry, my FQ can go to Amish country as long as it brings back tasty cakes and sweet bologna with it!! LOL (my favorites from Lancaster Co)

Lyn,
I wish I could deliver it to you personally as my sister lives in Scottsdale and her daughter is in Gilbert (?). I also have a nephew near Mesa. I could just do lots of visiting and get that FQ to you.:bg:
