If any of you sew for older girls (teens), McCall has 4 new patterns available. I could not find them on their website and they are not in the pattern books in the stores (maybe the pattern books are out of date). When I purchased mine this morning at Hancock (.99), the cashier had to give them a generic code because they weren't in the computer yet. Anyway, I guess McCall is introducing a "Hillary Duff" pattern line for teenage girls. I think the styles are kinda cute  I have scanned (http://pic40.picturetrail.com/VOL388/2170133/9904999/236281273.jpg) the pattern fronts if you want to see.

Well looks like McCall's is trying to compete with Simplicity's Lizzie McGuire line of patterns. These aren't teen patterns you are showing though, they are just older girl patterns, sizes 7-14, same as the Simplicity Lizzie patterns. I noticed on a couple you had that they only had size 7-10 in them, which I guess surprises me since I haven't bought a Simplicity Lizzie pattern that wasn't covering all sizes 7-14. I like having all those sizes in the envelope to cover all the growing! :bluewink: In the end I don't have a Hancock anywhere near me, so won't be picking them up soon. Well be waiting see reviews on them before I get to excited here. I just love the Lizzie patterns!

This was my first thought also when I saw them. I have all of the Lizzie McGuire patterns as well as the That's So Raven thus far, just haven't made any. I guess I considered them teen because Hillary Duff looks so mature on the cover and I think these styles are more upper elementary and beyond. Perhaps I should have said tween  .

I'm not there yet, still trying to sew things that make my little girl look like a little girl ;) But Ottobre does a nice job with the tween/teen patterns imo.

Oh those are really cute.
My girls are still to little but I have a 10 year old sister who I like to sew for so these will be great!

I will have to wait for Hobby Lobby to have their 99 cent sale. (they are the only fabric store I have)

Thanks for sharing
