Anybody out there felt crocheted wool? Can you say about how much it shrinks? What about knitted?

Depends- what wool, what tension, what soap, what technique for the felting. Down breed wools felt less than others, merino felts well. Really your only hope is to make a sample piece, trace around it exactly on a piece of paper, and huck it in th washer, or whatever you are using, then measure it again. Generally I expect about 40 % shrink.
Nuro Kuryon, in my humble opinion does not make a truly durable felted fabric.. spent a lot, made a purse, and it has been thru the process several times, but still is no t as 'hard' as I would like. Others rave about it, so what do I know?

I think I have merino wool. I'll give it a test. Actually this whole project will be a test and I have figured out how to do it without any kind of precise measurements.
Thanks. If I have any questions I'll know who to ask.
