I have been asked by a client to insert ribbed cuffs inside the sleeves of a down filled London Fog coat. The sleeves are quite wide and she would like the added warmth of ribbing on the inside. I have no idea how this might attach. The coat is lined, but the hem is just rolled over and stitched. Any ideas how I might secure the cuffs - I have a vision of the ribbing pulling the lining down...

I had one, at one time.. It had part of a sleeve and then the cuffs, and the upper part was sewn to the lining of the coat.. It was attached right below the elbow.. (made of knit so it had a little leeway to it.. Kept my arms much warmer than all that air getting up the sleeve..:bg:
