I am so pleased with these two projects I had to post pictures. The red quilt is a gift for my daughter. I used the red table centerpiece mats that we made and never used because of the terrible weather that day, and so we never set up the decorations for the reception as it was supposed to be outside and it stormed and poured all day and we didn't make alternate arrangements - lesson of the day - always make alternate arrangements and lesson #2 - never have the wedding on the first weekend of the exhibition (fair) as it ALWAYS storms that weekend. The white represents the wedding dress, the black for tuxes, the grey satin border is for the vests and ties, the daisy was supposed to be red gerbera but it just wasn't going to work on the quilt. I had thought about doing a blackwork daisy, but I like this so much better. She will get this on the weekend.

The jacket is my 2nd quilted jacket, this one is totally reversible. It's made out of 10 fat quarters and is flannel interlined. The fat quarter side is free motion quilted. My other one is in pinks and blues, but I think this is my favorite.

She will be thrilled with the quilt for sure. Is it throw size or bed size? Love the use of colors.
