On the CRUISE!!! Can you see me dancing and hopping around I'm going to be impossible to live with for the next 10 months!!! I'm already trying to figure out what to take, and what I can sew to take. Do a little dance, I'm grinning from ear to ear. Can you tell??????? Called the daughter this morning after I booked it and she burst into tears. I'm so excited! Laura

Gosh, I got so excited, I didn't get all the info in. Our youngest daughter that just had the baby before Christmas is getting married on this cruise at Grand Cayman. There will be about 30 people in total going for the wedding. This includes the ex wife and her husband! But DH finally realized that it's not about him but about his daughter. The cruise is Jan 17-16 out of Ft Lauderdale. We've never done a cruise before and I've always wanted to so I'm just so thrilled.

This is fantastic news Laura. May this be the first cruise of many. So many people who don't expect to enjoy them come back as converts. What are you going to need for the trip? Some lovely breezy coverups maybe, a formal gown or two for dining at the Captains table and of course an outfit for the wedding. How exiciting! Pauline

Awesome, Laura! You will be the belle of the ball (after your daughter, of course.) What great memories you will have and so much to look forward to. Lennie |

HOOOORAYYYYYY get ready for several more. Once bitten you go back and back and back. Bring lots of sunscreen, comfortble shoes, lots of shorts and comfortable clothes. I was stressed before each cruise getting things ready but once on the ship all that stress leaves you and the party begins!!!! But get ready when you come home you will have to get use to getting your own food and drink. Sorry, that's the only draw back.
I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Yes, a cruise is like a floating restaurant. Loads of food all the time. You will need a couple of more formal outfits for evening but for the most part be comfortable and enjoy the trip.

Sounds like the clothes you need will have to be roomy.
