Hi, I am new to this forum and somewhat new to sewing. I have a great friend who is teaching me how to read sewing patterns. They seem to be in a different language and I discovered this site/forum to get ideas from others on how to do things when she isn't around and when I want to change the way things are done from how the patterns instructs to do things.
