What are you wearing (and did you make it?) Cotton pants with tiny hounds tooth and a silky poly shirt with an early 1900s fashion plate print. (if I didn't make it I would be in my underwear cause I made everything else I wear) What are you seeing around you? A big pile of work I am procrastinating getting started on and deadline is looming. (and some gingham for place mats screaming at me from across the room) What are you tasting? Cold coffee What are you touching (besides the keyboard, silly)? A list of stories I should file today What are you hearing? Because of You -- The Preservation Hall Jazz Band What are you smelling? Right now! What are you wearing (and did you make it?)A nightie and polar fleece poncho - I made the poncho but not the nightie. Nightie is a short tank top style with a mickey mouse motif. Poncho is a black no sew polar fleece. It's too cold not to wear something else and poncho was closer to hand than a dressing gown (robe). What are you seeing around you? All the housework (particularly the ironing) that I have yet to do. Outside is the first foggy day of the year so it looks a bit eerie. What are you tasting? Just had breakfast - sultana bran. In a few minutes it will be first coffee for the day. Aaahhh..... What are you touching (besides the keyboard, silly)?Rubbing my eyes - I'm still a bit sleepy (just after 7 am - a sleep in for me really) What are you hearing? "Mum can you please make me some brekky" And birds twittering outside. TV was on but is now turned off in order for ds to get ready for school. What are you smelling?Not a thing - have a cold at the moment. Time to go now and get the family ready for the day. Pauline

Guess I'll join in on the fun. It's just after 3:00 p.m. What are you wearing (and did you make it?) I have on a gray hoodie made out of some kind of fleece boucle-ish fabric, jeans, and Skechers tennies. Didn't make any of it.  What are you seeing around you? I'm seeing the sun trying to come out after a day and a half of rain. The clouds are gorgeous. I'm seeing my sewing room and a rug that I need to vacuum because of all the sewing threads and animal hair.  What are you tasting? My cup of English tea. (Yes, you Brits, we do know good tea.  It's Yorkshire Gold, leaf tea.) What are you touching (besides the keyboard, silly)? My girl dog, Betty (40 lb shep mix). She's trying her best to get me to go out and throw the ball. What are you hearing? Lots of birds and a scanner with emergency folks dealing with a heart attack patient. What are you smelling? My tea and that's about it. Hope you feel better, Pauline. 3 Ferrets t-shirt, no...(and panties...it's night and I'm all alone ) sewing/embroidery machines, stash, computer (and all the junk that goes with'em) hallway. water..(with ice, so I can chew... )mouse, desk, chair. computer, extra fan and my friend the mystery stereo (yes I still haven't found it and it still plays...)  just hot electronics and fabric... (it's 9:30 pm here...dark...I type in the dark...wwwwhhhheeee...) Chrys

It's early yet for me it's 10:17PM at night. What are you wearing (and did you make it?) My Pj's (a burgundy tee shirt and a red flower crop pants) No I didn't make it. It's a Target buy!!! What are you seeing around you? Computer screen, desk, tv, sewing machines can you tell what room I'm in? LOL What are you tasting? Nothing I'm done eating for the day. What are you touching (besides the keyboard, silly)? My mouse and keyboard. What are you hearing? My friend on the phone in one ear and the tv in one ear. What are you smelling? Gardenia Body cream from Bath and Body Works I'm regressing back into my youth, I just have to figure out how I'm going to convience my body to come along with me.

Time : 6:36 in the morning wearing - PJ's and a fleece and my slippers seeing - Keyboard, filing tray. old sermons,house sale stuff, Tony on laptop next to me tasting - a bowl of friuit and nut meusli ( already had my tea - Tony brought me a cup in bed adn a little cat to say hello. touching - my clothing? the chair under my bum? the breakfast spoon hearing - Tony playing the Michah challenge "blow the whistle - stop poverty video" http://swn-archive.sew-whats-up.com/t-21523.html smelling - now this is a sore point - litlle cat came to say hello and squatted on the bed and peed - so I carried him still spraying into the bathroom where he proceeded to empty his bladder mightily over the bath - Tony stripped the bed, we have washed the feather duvet and hung it on the line (hence the PJ's fleece and wellies earlier) I am trying to convince myself I can't still smell cat wee. He meowed in the bedroom - and prowled around - we missed the signs that he needed to go out - trying to train him to use a cat flap - he can come in but hasn't mastered going out - stupid animal. I am up far too early.... and he is going to the vet's this morning to have his nadjers cut off....hahahah! love and kisses, Jan

Magot and DorothyL, you have certainly made me laugh this morning! What are you wearing (and did you make it?): Blue T shirt, white capri pants, dirty white sneakers. Nope, didn't make any of it, 'cept I had a hand in getting the sneakers dirty. What are you seeing around you? Nine Patch quilt directions, the name of a campground that has no vacancies, so I can't go camping. What are you tasting? Coffee with half & half and a bit of stevia for sweetener. What are you touching (besides the keyboard, silly)? Ummm...my tush on the chair? What are you hearing? A wood grinder grinding up tree branches. Very, very noisy and unpleasant. What are you smelling? Nothing. The allergies have take n care of that. Theresa

I don't think he has the brain to connect the two Dorothy..we will find out when I put him in the carrier when we move. At the moment he is back from the vets and nonchalently strolling around as though nothing has happened... I can't think what else I can cut off without prosecution if he does that again. love and kisses, Jan
